As the crow flies, I live just a few miles from the Appalachian Trail in Greene County in “upper east” Tennessee.  If I face southeast, I can watch the sun rise over the Bald Mountains which are are part of the vast chain of the Appalachians.  Every day, nature  furnishes me a new visual drama for inspiration.
